New York Premiere Film Festival

Following the success of the NYDEF Film Festival in New York City, New York Premiere aims to showcase short films from emerging filmmakers around the world, ethnic minorities, LGBTQ and women during a 3 day festival. Short films will compete for a $1000 Grand Prize and TV premiere of their short on New York’s MNN Cable Network.

 

Festival Description:

Following the success of the NYDEF Film Festival in New York City, in conjunction with Denouement Films, New York Premiere aims to showcase short films from emerging filmmakers from around the world and those from ethnic minorities, LGBT and women during a 3 Day festival with a $1000 grand prize and TV premiere of of their short on New York’s MNN Cable Network.

 

Following the success of the NYDEF Film Festival in New York City, in conjunction with Denouement Films, New York Premiere aims to showcase films from emerging filmmakers from around the world especially those from ethnic minorities, LGBT and women during a 3 Day festival.

 

The festival will be held at a cutting edge screening room where filmmakers and audience members can eat and drink from a full menu and bar while watching films from the most promising filmmakers of the future. New York Premiere will also host a panel from award winning movers and shakers discussing the state of the industry and making a mark.

  • Open Call For Short Films- Narratives (Domestic & International)
    Open call for Narratives for the New York Premiere Short Film Festival. Films must be under 20 min. The open call is open to filmmakers from the United States and International.
  • Open Call for Short Films- Documentary, Experimental, Animation, Music Video
    Open Call for Short Films-LGBTQ, Women, Minority Filmmakers
  • Open call for films by LGBTQ, Women and Minority Filmmakers. The call is open to all types of films, Narratives, Documentaries, Pilots, Experimental, Animation and Music Videos.

Early Bird Deadline: February 11, 2017
