Filmmakers are allowed to submit as many films as they wish. There are no completion date requirements. Please be advised that due to the audience and exposure the festival can provide, it is highly competitive and filmmakers are encouraged to submit only their best works. Filmmakers must be comfortable answering questions regarding their film and be prepared to be filmed on camera.
All works must be original and the rights must belong to the filmmaker. All films in which the filmmaker does not own the rights will not be considered in this festival.
If selected, the filmmaker must provide the following:
A Trailer (preferred but not required)
2-3 Photographs of the Filmmaker
Short Synopsis of the film.
Agreeing to the Terms and Conditions related to the festival include:
Filmmaker agreeing to the Release of their film and image in use with the festival (New York Premiere) and its promotional materials. The filmmaker also agrees to New York Premieres right to exhibit the film throughout the festival and its cycle. The filmmaker is agreeing that they own the rights to the film in which they are submitting. The filmmaker agrees to allow their film to be shown on local public access television. The filmmaker agrees to be interviewed regarding their works.
